Visit (483 times)

Quito is not the most festive city in the continent since Quito citizens are a little shy but there are many places amongst discos and bars where to gout out; therefore it can say that the nightlife in this city is quite entertaining. The main places for to spend the night are in the downtown around "Mariscal" quarter and "Foch" square.

There are a great variety of discos, where you can dance from salsa to raves. If you go to discos or bars , you should remember that there are various entrance fees, like Cover Charge (you pay a certain amount to get in the door and then you buy all your drinks, or none, it doesn't matter), Minimum Consumption (there is no cover charge itself, but you have to spend at least a quantity of money or you pay something when you leave), Admission with Drink (probably the most popular in Quito, it pay a quantity of money and you receive a ticket or token for a "free" drink).
The salsa clubs in Quito are definitely the best places to dance since the Ecuadorian are good salsa dancers.
